Barbara H Chaiyachati, M.D., Ph.D. Post-Doctoral Fellow

Barbara is joining the LiBI Team for a postdoctoral fellowship. She completed her M.D. and Ph.D. at Yale as well as a Doris Duke Fellowship for the Promotion of Child Wellbeing. She completed her pediatrics residency at CHOP prior to her current position as a Fellow in Child Abuse Pediatrics.

Barbara's research seeks to identify actionable biologic targets for intervention to improve child well-being and abrogate or even prevent negative health consequences of adverse childhood experiences.
