Penn PERC Opens New Clinic at Hall-Mercer
Offering diagnostic consultations, treatment, support and skill development for persons with early psychosis
Penn PERC (Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center) offers a new multi-modal intervention program with locations at Hall Mercer and HUP. This new clinic offers a stepped care approach for Clinical High Risk patients in an effort to improve emerging psychosis symptoms and life functioning, and may improve long-term outcomes.
The clinic is dedicated to provide customized diagnostic evaluation, comprehensive treatment and follow-up for patients in adolescence and young adulthood (ages 14-30 years) experiencing the early warning signs of psychosis, and their families. Treatment offerings include supportive psychotherapy in the form of CBT, medication management, family education and support, as well as scholastic and peer support.
Eligible participants include persons from the Philadelphia Metropolitan area, including surrounding counties in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
